Create Your Gift Fund
There are two types of funds that you can establish with your gift — an endowed fund or a current-use fund. The most appropriate fund depends on your goals.
Gift funds
An endowed fund
- Lasts in perpetuity
- Has immediate and long-term impact
- Supports the purpose you specify, such as scholarships, fellowships, endowed chairs and professorships
A current-use fund
- Is expended over a short period of time
- Has immediate impact on the purpose you specify
- May provide a long-term legacy, such as through supporting a building fund
